What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second cash transfer to clear the balance of money that was deposited for the purchase of a motorcycle.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send us cash transfers with no strings attached to them. These cash transfers have changed my community. Personally, there is nothing wrong that GveDirectly has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The GiveDirectly cash transfers enabled me to purchase house hold items like bed, mattress, utensils, clothes. I can now proudly change into nice clothes and go visiting my friends. The cash transfers also enabled me to pay off my debts. In addition to these, we purchased a motorcycle that has improved our transportation. At times, the motorcycle is used as a boda-boda which generates additional income. Before then, I used to travel long distances to access medical care due to lack of transport means. More so, I could not afford better medical services due to lack of money.
