What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy food for my household members. I had used my first transfer to construct a better house and therefore buying food would be my second priority owing to the fact that I live in arid and semi-arid area where drought that leads to food shortage is a frequent problem.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I like the fact that Give Directly gives out money that it doesn't dictate how it should be spent. But again, it would consider expanding its region of operation nationwide to reach the majority of the poorest.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I can mention living in a better house as the impact the transfers have brought into my life. Before I got the money, people thought I could live in a leaky grass thatched house for the rest of my life but thank to Give Directly for bringing the changes that everyone can see in my village.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I extended my main house from 14-20 iron sheets. The house is now bigger than what you found the other time-there was no space for you to sit, that unfortunate. But I am now happy that Give Directly has enabled me make a step in life and I can now accommodate all my guests without any worry.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from Give Directly, I felt very decompressed. Stress level plummeted since I would accomplish most of the things that I had been longing for in my life.
