What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a half acre of land near Kiringa centre. I also bought seeds of sugarcane for planting on the piece of land which I hired using the first transfers.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have an investment of my own in the sugarcanes and I own land in the trading centre whose value is rising everyday.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to fulfil the promises made during barazas and to send money directly to recipients.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
Well, on land! I used my second transfer to buy land for growing coffee because I wanted to grow coffee for commercial but I did not have enough land.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to buy land for myself something I never expected in my life is the biggest difference in my daily life. I used my second transfer to buy land worth UGX.1.500.000. I am happy.

I use my first transfer to buy a cow because i wanted to rear. I also bought some food for the family.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on renting more land and grow sugarcanes and also expand my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is my plot i am at and the house i built.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life was when i was buying the plot of land i am at right now. It was not easy in a way that i feel sick to the extent of passing out blood when in a latrine in the name of completing the money they had asked for so as to own the plot.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I get to earn something out of my small business.
