In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly sends money directly and recipients are left to prioritize their own needs. I have not seen anything GD did not did well.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails and iron roofing sheets which I will use to build a better house for my family. If there are any funds remaining I plan to buy some livestock.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having worked as a casual worker at the lakeside for quite a while and after diligently saving my earnings I have been able to buy some goats and sheep.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to build a better house for my family. My current house is dilapidated and too small for my family, this means that some of my children have to sleep at our neighbours home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am relaxing with my family. We often chat, crack jokes and have a good time as we prepare supper and this makes me very happy.
