What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of my third transfer to buy sand and cement which am currently using to cement my house which I built with the second transfer, I spent a portion to pay school fees for my child who is in high school. The remaining amount, I spent to start a green grocery business which is now my major source of income and it also helps me to support my spouse take care of our family.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to built a new iron roofed house. I bought some three sheep. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now live in a stable house which doesn't leak. My former house was in a sorry state but could't establish a better one due to financial constraints.

I spent my first transfer on paying 5,000 KES school fee for my two children in high school, used the rest of the cash to buy seed, fertilizer, then till land. Am now weeding my plants and very hopeful of getting good yields.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of a sustainable income source. I live with orphans who I have to provide for and support as well as my own children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I prepare my children for school. I wish a bright future for them.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I feel happy to be part of the program, I consider this a life changing experience. My dream of building a bigger house to accommodate my now grown family will come true.
