The thing that GiveDirectly does so well is sending us money I can tell that a lot of peoples lives changed so much through the money that GD was sending us. They should keep up the good work because this plan works well for the people that I can not see what they do not do well.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and excited the moment I received the money from GD. It felt good to receive some help that would improve my family's living condition. I did not have food in my family , but receiving this money meant that my family would finally have enough food to eat for a while.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my home has change after receiving the money from GD. I am able to buy things that I was not able to afford, for example plates, cups ,puts and other dishes for my home. The reason I have not been able to buy these things is that I am not working and I depend on my husband who is not working as well. My husband supports the family buy going for temporary jobs every day and the money he makes is not alot, it is just for that specific day.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my first transfer from GD on buying Mattresses, blankets and clothes for my family. Before buying the mattresses for me and my family, we slept on the floor on mats, this is very uncomfortable and that is the reason I bought mattresses. We only had one blanket in our family and this was not enough , but I have managed to buy two more blankets for my home. Lastly I also spent the money on buying new cloths and maize so that my family has enough food to eat.
