How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Mercy, before GD came, I planned to build a house but could not be realized due to lock of funding. My entire life had been farming and even selling the Little products from my farm could not still help in any way in building a house or sending my children to school. Schooling my children is one of my many problems that I been facing. Seeing my children out of school seating home is very frustrating for me. I could not do any thing about it because the funding was there at all. But when I got enrolled as a recipient on the GD program and started receiving transfers, I believe that my life have changed and will be able to do things that I could not do.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to recondition my house.Eventhough I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I use on food. The structure that I lived in is made of mud with thatch roof when the rain starts to fall, the structure begins to leak and it damaged most of my household and I belongings.I want to buy roofing materials and cement to roof my house and to made the outer wall out of concrete but there's no money. If I receive this transfer I will roof my house
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months what has brought me joy or happiness is when my spouse was hired a job to teach at Klibo public school.I was happy and started thinking God for the man that hired him the job because the farm I make this year didn't produce much, so the fact that my spouse was hired to teach and get money to maintain the family brought so much joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I'm facing now is to get money to recondition my house.I have been living in this thatch roof and mud structure for the past one year and I'm not comfortable with the kind of condition I'm in.Eventhough I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I use on food.I will really appreciate any help I can get from GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood.
