What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Iam currently living in a poor structure because the recent floods destroyed my one and only mud wall house and due to financial challenges iam not able to renovate it and also iam not able to do any casual labour or even charcoal burning because iam very old I only depend on neighbours for food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Being old is a burden to me because iam not able to look for money I depend on my children for basic needs.iam happy because my children have been there for me whenever I need their support. Early this year My son gifted me one bag of maize and beans and that brought joy into my life.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I am struggling to repair my house with sticks and pieces of tents which was destroyed by the recent floods because iam not financially stable to buy iron sheets.iam planning God willing to use the cash transfers to buy iron sheets, timber and cement to build a better house. I will use the remaining amount of money to replace all the items swept away by the floods because right now I don't have clothes, utensils, beddings and containers for my family.
