How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been staying in a grass thatched house and had no any expectation that i would build an iron sheet one at any point. In addition to that hunger has been rampaging through my family because i could not harvest enough yeilds as fertilizer prices are high. Therefore when i received the transfer i used it to build a house, buy fertilizer and seed for the next agriculture season and food. Therefore my life is now different from what it was before i received the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything that was happening during the project was in order and the field staff were very respectiful and supportive. I find nothing that went wrong
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my transfer on things i have been wanting for a long time such as building house, food, fertilizer and seeds

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means alot to me. This means that my financial difficulties will be eased. If I get the cash grant I will spend it on building a better and proper house as Iam currently staying in a dilapidated one. This money means that my problems will be half solved and I will really appreciate when i receive the transfer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is in the afternoon as it is the time I go to pray at the mosque. These prayers give me hope and joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Honestly my biggest hardship i have faced in my life is insufficient food supply. Year in and out I lack food because I do not harvest enough maize to take me the whole year.
