What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought land @1000000 ugx, a cow @500000 ugx, solar system @100000 ugx, clothes @30000 ugx and transport 3000 ugx.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I felt so happy and thanked GD for sending me the money because I was now going to complete my projects.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I used to sleep in a grass thatched house, I never had livestock, garden and some many things. However right now I have my garden, Livestock an iron sheet house and also cater for medical bills. My life has really changed from nothing to something.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying a cow at 700,000UGX, I used 700,000UGX to start the construction of my semi- permanent house. Some money I spent for purchasing a solar system, treating my mother and for general family up keep.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my first transfer I was very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to own a cow. I expect to sleep in a descent house soon after construction, I was sleeping in a leaking roofed house but now this transfer is enabling me to sleep in a decent house.

The biggest hardship I am faced with is lack of money to cater for the education needs of my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up healthy.

Receiving this money means I will be able to build a better house, buy a cow so that I can take milk.
