How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Have a decent house has been my goal before recieving this transfer. My house has been in a bad condition. Despite it being in that condition,I have not been able to improve it because of the lack of money. The roof no longer holds the rain waters as before. I have wished to complete the construction of my new house before the rainy season but there were a little short coming on the part of me. With my last transfer I am now going to do the finishing touches on my new house and move in.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
By allowing me to possess the cash and decide what to do with it is one of the things that the organization has done well. In addition, not only transferring the cash but coming after to make sure that the cash transferred has reached the rightful person. To say that GiveDirectly has done something contrary I will be a liar. Absolutely nothing wrong I have seen on the part of the organization.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to buy planks to do the furniture works on the house. To be particular the doors and windows works on the house. I was also able to buy sylin tile and cement inorder to complete the floor and plastering works. I also paid the contractor with portion of the money. Many thanks to GiveDirectly for giving me money that has made me today I stand and beat my chest and say I have a decent zinc house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to put zinc ontop this house. The house I am staying in now is covered with thatch which makes it hard for us to sleep good during the rainy season, because it leaks so much that we have to sit up many days until day breaks.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Today is the most happy day for me. My suffering coming finished because I have seeing lots of people from other villages passing with zinc, cement, rice and paying sending their children to school all from the good good things givedirectly doing for other people. I now believe God ready for this same help to come for me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The serious hard time I am facing now is food and children school fees. The farm I made to get food and small money for my family, spoiled due to my father sickness and death. I needed to pay more attention to him during that time which made my children to drop out of school.
