How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved in that, I paid my child's tuition for a full year which has given me a peace of mind. Before, I used to wholly depend on agriculture produce for income which was unreliable due to the uncertainties in the climatic conditions. In addition, I had sold most of my livestock in order to raise money to meet my family needs most especially my child's tuition. This as a result left me with no oxen to plough my agricultural land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by relieving me from the pressings needs like my child's school fees. However, GiveDirectly has only done good.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy an ox, pay my child's tuition, transport and food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The fact that I got back this garden land of mine, is the biggest difference in my daily life as it will now help in extensive farming that will both be commercial and subsistence. This is so because before the issue farming had become a problem as I had limited garden land where I could cultivate little food crops that would not fully sustain my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I recieved my money, I felt happy at that moment knowing that at last I was getting back my land.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most (Ugx 1600000) of my first transfer on getting back my two garden lands that I had given out in exchange for money to keep my children in school (University) then. The balance (Ugx100000) I use to take my young son to school.
