What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will assist us a lot as we have been struggling with different problems. Farming has been a bit difficult for us as we harvest alittle due to lack of fertilizer. We aim to buy sone fertilizer for our crops this season, build a better house as well as beddings as we have very few. The rest of the money will go towards other household items such as utensils, clothes and also some goats to rear as an investment to sell in the future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Having livestock to sell and eat when we are short of money brings us joy. This is so as life tend to get tough during farming season since may of us experience shortage of food as well as income and this gives us relief.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We rarely have enough food to last us the whole year. Although a small family is a bit easy to feed,my main concern has always been the house as at the end of each season am forced to buy new plastic sheets since it's thatched with grass. Am now happy that this program will enable me to buy iron sheets. During winter, we also have difficulties sleeping properly as we tend to have very few beddings to keep ourselves warm.
