What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school for my child in high school at 10,000 KES, bought fourteen bags of cement, three steel windows at 9,000 KES then tilled land on which I'll plant maize and beans when the rains come.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I managed to pay my children's school fee without struggling, unlike before when I used to work for other people to get some little pay that wasn't even enough to pay their fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly do well by being truthful and honest by keeping to their word. GiveDirectly can do even better by sending us some money once in a while instead of just withdrawing at once.

I spent my second transfer in constructing latrine, l also bought two sacks of maize, solar and uniform for my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My children are nowadays able to consistently go to school without being sent home for school fees, I also have enough food in my house, All my stress is generally reduced.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to use my transfer to pay school fees for my daughter in form one and my other two children in a private primary school,and to start shoes selling business in the nearby market.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I am proud because I have managed to educate my daughter upto form one with the little money that I get from my farm.

My biggest hardship is that I do not have a steady income.

My happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am spending time with my family.
