How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My living conditions changed when I received give directly money, so I hope to sell a calf from my cow then put up a house on my land as I'm staying at a relative's house in a risky area because my home was washed away by the landslides of 2022 in August.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Personally I never got any difficulties or problems with give directly procedures. They are patient with the recipients illiterate or not.

I bought land in bugobelo village in manafwa district, and a cow.

Was at home with wife, informed the wife,that GD has fulfilled the promise, started thinking of saving it and wait for next transfer so that they may buy land and resettle there,opened account and saved it there in centenary bank

His area has water oozing from ground, but now hopefull and that they are optimistic about living good life in a near future,

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The household hope they can buy a plot of land in a safe place and put up a house to be safe with their family
What is the happiest part of your day?
Organisations like Redcross came by and got them some relief forexample food,blankets, saucepans etc
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The effects of the landslide that left them homeless with their house being swept away.They have had a challenge of poverty because the crops were taken away which is their source of livelihood.
