What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 1,920 KES to buy 6 second hand iron sheets to place roofing on my poultry house, bought 5 poles to support the structure for 1,250 KES and chicken feed for 2,600 KES. I also bought 2 sheep for 5,400 KES, seats for 12,500 KES, school fees for 1,800 KES and clothes for 4,000 KES. I also spent 3,000 KES to buy 10 cedar posts, 40 roofing poles for 6,000 KES, 130 wall poles for 6,300 KES and transport cost was 2,100 KES as part of materials that I will use to construct a new house. The remaining amount was spent on buying food in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Since I constructed the poultry house and bought some chicken to keep, I know that I will be able to sell them and get money to buy HH items and also be able to pay school fees for my children.

I spent 2,000 KES to pay school levies, constructed a chicken shade for 4,200 KES and bought some chicken to rear for 2,000 KES. The rest was spent on buying food.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to construct a bigger chicken house and also construct a a better house for my family.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on cement and sand so that I can plaster the walls and floor of my house. I am also planning to construct a poultry house in my compound, buy some chicks, and start a poultry rearing business to get more money.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of starting my small business of selling groceries from my house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is struggling to take care of my big family as a widow with very meagre resources. I am also sick and need to go to hospital, but I don't have the money to do that.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when my youngest child is back from school and I am playing around with her.
