Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Since we approaching the end of the transfer, I do not have any other plan on how to spend my next transfers. In January I will have completed paying for the water tank which I have been paying on instalment. I am happy that the remaining amount will just be enough to fully settle the full payment for the tank and I am happy that I got what I had always wished to have for some time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that since we obtained a water tank we have lack water since we get to harvest enough rainwater to take us for some days. This has enabled my wife to save time which she would have spent on collecting water at a distant water point. Now she is busy working on our farm and right now she has some crops which she usually attend during her free time after household chores. This progress has really impressed me as she got empowered after we solved what was consuming her time and energy.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Now having bought a water tank, I am planning to buy a dairy cow having since we have enough water. Before I couldn't venture to it as my wife wouldn't afford to fetch water for household use and also for livestock as the distance to water point is too long. I hope in the next six months, I would have bought it as I have already sorted the issue of water shortage which we had initially.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago since I now have a water tank. My family no longer walk for a long distance to fetch water as I can collect water during the rainy season and use it during the dry season. This has made my family especially my children so happy because they know that they will not be going to the river to fetch water.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The only goal I now have is to complete paying for this water tank since I took it on higher purchase terms and it will take me the whole year to complete paying for it. I decided to buy it on higher purchase terms since I could not afford to pay the whole amount. I knew that it would be easy for me to pay this money on monthly installments using my transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I now own a water tank unlike before. My family used to walk for a long distance to fetch water for household and livestock use. They were forced to fetch water on a daily basis even during the rainy season since I had nothing to store water. I am now glad that I own this tank and my family will no longer walk for a long distance to fetch water during the rainy season.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that my family will not be going to the river to fetch water during the rainy season. I bought this tank recently and I have not used it since it has not rained. I will use it to store water during the rainy season and it will save my family the time they would have otherwise used going to fetch water and spend it on doing something else. I have been buying vegetables during the dry season and I believe that this will be different this year. I will be using this water to irrigate my vegetables during this season hence I will have enough supply for my family.
