Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goals for my life for the next four months are for buying a cow which will serve as a living testimony even long after GiveDirectly has finished operations in our region. The benefits that cows provide include milk and easily available for sale should the need arise. I am seeing these benefits in the angle mentioned above and my fingers are crossed that I will accomplish this by four months’ time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I no longer spend most of my time casually working. The money that I have been struggling to get has been sorted by transfers from GiveDirectly. Now I can spend the time farming in my land and attending to other duties that may need my attention.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In six months’ time, I have high expectation that I will have bought a cow which will serve the family by providing milk for use and even for sale. Also, my husband has already rented a premise which we are yet to start operating as a shop. By six months' time, I am hopeful that the shop will be up and running and therefore our family income will expand.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different in that I have been able to afford some of the most basic needs without having to go out looking for casual jobs like I used to do before. I now get enough money and still get enough time to attend to my own farm.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional plans for the next four months is to be able to accumulate the money from my farming and wait for profits from my vegetable farming to be able to buy a dairy cow. The dairy cow shall help me by a great extent in that we shall have milk for family consumption while we sell the surplus to meet other family expenses. We currently spend a lot of money on purchase of milk. This money could be diverted into other meaningful family spending that can result in rise in the living standard of our family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to practice improved farming and I have as well been able to keep my children in school by paying their school fees in time. Gone are the days when my children could be sent home for lack of school fees. This has made me so happy as a parent who feels that I have been able to meet one of my greatest responsibilities.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect my life to change in that I shall have bought the dairy cow and be able to engage in improved farming practices. The dairy cow shall definitely bring an end to the money being spent on buying milk and enable us to make other meaningful family investments that will bring about a rise in the living standards of our family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago since I am enjoying higher income from the sale of eggs that I get from my poultry. Besides, we consume some of the eggs to supplement our food. Still, we have sufficient food in our house since I have harvested the maize that I planted in a piece of land that I had leased from my neighbor. Overall, my family looks healthier and happier unlike before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The additional goal for my life for the next four months is to expand my poultry farming. Currently, I have about ten birds. Accordingly, I look forward to owning about 30 birds in the next four months. I chose to raise more poultry because they tend to mature quickly. Thus, I will utilize the money that I receive from GiveDirectly to finance the project.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My family looks healthier and happier unlike the previous four months. This serves as the biggest difference in my daily life in that period. We reaped heavily from the maize crops that we had planted in some piece of land that I leased using the earlier transfers from GiveDirectly. I sold some of the huge harvests to gain some income for financing varied activities and family demands. Thus, we are enjoying sufficient food and a balanced diet. This makes me happy as a responsible mother.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change significantly in the next six months because I shall be having my own cow. Currently, we do not have a cow as a family. In our community, owning a cow is a no mean achievement. Thus, I endeavor to buy one. Besides, I will be leasing more land to expand my farming practices. As a result, I will attain more crops for sale and consumption. Eventually, I will open a shop before the end of this year to attract more income. Consequently, I will be enjoying a better life that is marked with increased income.
