How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goals I initially planned of building a new house which is what I am continuing to finish.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Am very excited about givedirectly giving me what I was not expecting. I have been living in thatched house but now I planned on building a new house which makes me so happy and thankful to givedirectly for the money. Givedirectly has not done any wrong.

I bought three bundles of zinc, two packs of zinc nails, two packs of wire nails, forty-four pieces of planks and paid my little sister's school fees.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal remains the same until it is archived. That goal is to construct a modern house for myself. I feel as a young man I should have a decent house that I and my family can live in while we are still in River Gee County. When my set goal is archived, then I can see what next to set as a goal. I don't want to have multiple goals at the same time to over burden myself.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am satisfied with GiveDirectly's approach of aiding recipients: Send you cash directly without any hindrance, send follow up team to find out what recipients are spending their money on and above all provide phones for recipients. I think their approach is okay and don't have to change. They have and continue to do everything well.

I bought a bundle of zinc and I also pay chainsaw workers to produce planks for the construction of my new house. I am keeping the balance to pay construction workers for the construct the house and to purchase food for the construction workers.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was going on my farm when I received the mobile money massage in my phone and read that I received 40375. I started singing and praising God in my dialet because it's my first time for someone to give me this amount of money. I felt very happy within my spirit and I am grateful to GiveDirectly.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm about to build a decent house and leave this tash house that I'm living in. Knowing this brings me so much joy and happiness.
