Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The big difference I am seeing in my life is that I have acquired my own oxen and ox plough using the cash transfers. These oxen are going to facilitate timely ploughing. Prior to receiving the transfer, I had to do casual work in exchange of oxen or hire when I could. The impact of this was late ploughing on my side leading to poor harvest because the owners of the oxen did their work first before they hire out.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt happy because the transfer was going to relieve me from the most pressing challenge which was lack of oxen.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying two oxen at UGX 1,500,000 and the ox plough at UGX 200,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means that I will be able to purchase two big bulls to assist during agricultural cultivation because all along for me to access bulls within the village, I either hire the bulls or go help the owner of the bulls by cultivating his land then after I get helped with the bulls.I want to have my own bulls so that I can engage into agriculture without any delays that in most cases have made me to fore go planting certain types of crops when the season has elapsed.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is towards lunch time when I have got back from the garden and I am listening to a radio.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is not having enough food to feed my family and this has made most of my children at times to become sick. This has hindered agricultural works within my family because we have to take time off to make sure our children get medical treatment with all its associated costs.
