How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that we have always had food in the house for the family. For quite a long time I have always struggled to raise money to feed my family because I had very low income. The little I used to get I would have to use in all of our needs and in most cases it would not be enough. This is why we would have at most two meals a day. Since I started receiving these transfers, I have always ensured I buy food for my family in bulk once so that I reduce my daily expenditure. I have really improved in my budgeting since I started buying food in bulk.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a cupboard. Currently, I do not have a proper place of storing my utensils and as a result, I have lost quite a number. This is because they get broken easily due to poor storage. I would not want to lose more hence I have decided to buy a cupboard.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been having seats that I bought two years ago at my house. I have desired to have new ones because the one I have is worn out. Due to low income from casual work of ploughing in other people's farms for survival, I have never managed and only lived it to be a dream. When I started receiving these transfers, I made an order for a new sofa set which I paid for in seven instalments from our nearby carpenter. I am glad I have managed to get the seats because I had made full payments for the same just with GD transfers. Thanks to GD for the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have bought the cupboard. This is my first priority and I am determined to achieve this goal in the shortest time possible. I want to start saving part of my monthly transfers and use the savinsg to either buy one.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was in that I am able to achieve all the goals that I set. Like in the last two months, I was able to buy seats just from my savings which I had made from the monthly transfers. Apart from that, I was also able to buy maize in bulk. To me, this is also an achievement because I use to buy it in bits which was expensive. I was forced to buy in bits because I used to entirely depend on my husband who doesn't have a stable job. I am a housewife but I feel that I am able to help my husband in taking some responsibilities. I really feel proud of my self because I am no longer a burden to him.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to build a kitchen. I do not have a kitchen at the moment and my family is suffering because of this. I normally cook in the open air which is inconveniencing because whenever it rains I have to incur an extra cost of buying charcoal which is expensive. At times we sleep hungry especially when I can't afford to buy charcoal. I always feel like I am punishing my family. I am glad that this will stop once I build the kitchen. I really thank Give Directly for giving me the support to accomplish this goal.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am more confident and less worried in life. I finally achieved my goal of adding more seats in my house. Previously, I had a few seats and I could be forced to borrow whenever I had many visitors. At some point, I used to refuse to be the host because I felt my friends would mock me. I don't think I would have bought them this soon because of my source of income. I am glad because I don't need to seclude myself from my friends anymore. My social life is back to normal again.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to ensure that I have built a kitchen. I know that when this dream actualizes, I will not be incurring an extra cost of buying charcoal whenever it rains. Currently, I don't have a proper structure, I cook in the open air which is usually impossible when it rains.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different, I can host my friends and even invite my family members confidently knowing that they have seats to sit on. This was not the case before, I had stools and this was not comfortable with visitors visiting for longer hours.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to purchase a cow. Once it has matured I can use it to help me plow my shamba and even hire it out for the same and earn income. Once it has served me, I can sell it and generate revenue.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
When I received my recent transfer, I bought a sofa seat. This had been my desire but due to consistent lack of resources, I could not purchase one for my household so I was forced to corp up with the wooden stools that I had. I felt embarrassed whenever I hosted brethren from my church. But ever since I bought the new seats, my home is the new fellowship joint for my church members and I feel so proud of this achievement.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have bought a cow and plowing will no longer be a problem as it is currently. Besides that, I will have expanded my fries business and hopefully will be earning a little more from the business as well. With the income, I will be able to comfortably meet the needs of my family and even have enough to save for future plans.
