What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent it on areas where I had acute shortages. The first one was furniture and I spent on a sofa set and a table and the second and last one was a kitchen where I spent on utensils.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received transfers from Give Directly in that I can now receive guests and accommodate them since I have what it takes to do that, a good house, a nice kitchen and food for them. This has fostered a good relationship with people around me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly and this ensures its safety but it would be prudent if it considers stressing on areas of investment for the poorest even if the money is free so that we may be able to lengthen its sustainability.
