Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have always longed to own a dairy cow. Several months ago, I started a savings plan in order to achieve this goal. In the next four months, I believe with the savings that I have, I will purchase one. This will really cut down my milk expenses in the future. Besides, I will also be able to sell the surplus hence generate more income to cater for my household needs
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Four months ago, I had just initiated a poultry project with which at the moment, It has picked so well. Currently, compared to before, I no longer strain so much doing casual labour because I rely on the income I generate from the sale of eggs. My poultry size has also grown in number. I am so happy because I know that in case of an emergency, I can sell some.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is that my life will be better. This is because, I believe my poultry project will have expanded hence more income to the family. I will also have purchased a dairy cow, which will cut down my expenses since I will no longer be purchasing milk for my family consumption. My life generally will improve because I will now have sufficient income and will no longer do casual jobs for pay. This means I will have more time to rest as well as spend with my family at home. I will also dedicate more time to improve my farming

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that, I have initiated my poultry keeping project and its running smoothly. I am glad that I am earning from it by selling eggs on a daily basis. Before, I depended on the casual jobs in the village which was time consuming despite the meager payment I earned from it. In addition, it was so hard to save because of the basic needs my family wanted. Today, I no longer work tireless to but the food on the table like before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next month four months is to buy more tea seedling and plant on my farm. I believe that when the tea leaves mature with the attention and care I am giving them at the moment. I will supply the harvest to various factories in the village to earn on extra income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I used to rely on casual jobs in the village, unfortunately, the payment was so meager such that I could not afford to do any developmental projects and it barely sustained our needs. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have started keeping poultry which was not possible before as a source of making an extra income. Therefore, currently, I sell eggs from the project and out some part of the stock from wholesalers at the shopping center near my home. The profits I make are able to meet my family's pressing needs with ease. For instance, I have developed a saving culture whereby I have started saving for a dairy cow that I intend to buy in the future. Having this dairy cow will help me cut the cost of buying milk on a daily which is expensive. I'm so grateful because I no longer depend much on casual jobs but rather work on my own projects.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have saved enough from the sales of eggs and the transfers I get from GiveDirectly and buy a dairy cow. The milk I would be getting from the dairy cow will help me cut the cost of buying milk which is very costly.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have started a new business of buying and selling tea. This earns me lots of income that I will save to be utilized in purchasing more pieces of land. We have been yearning to plant tea, unfortunately, we have a relatively small piece of land. Thus, I look forward to a brighter future whereby we shall have our own tea for sale to ensure a consistent source of income.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change drastically in the next six months because I will have purchased another cow to expand my herd to attract more milk for consumption and sale.
