Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I majorly rely on farming to sustain my family's needs. In the next four months, I have a goal to invest more in farming since this will improve my farm products. I believe more farm products will, in turn, give us enough food and surpluses for sale to meet other family needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been living with my parents since I got married a few years and life has been challenging for us. I had to take up the responsibilities of providing our daily needs which was so pressing. I rely on casual jobs and subsistence farming thus getting enough income a day to support all the needs was hard. In the last four months, my life has greatly changed since I was able to relocate to my new home with my young family. I am happy that GiveDirectly has empowered me to bring up my family. I find it easier to provide for my family since I can supplement my daily wages from casual jobs and subsistence farming with my monthly transfer to support my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life in the next six months to have greatly changed. I expect to have invested more in farming thus will engage more in my piece of land than on hard and low paying casual jobs I currently do. I expect good crops on the farm thus will be hopeful of having a better harvest which translates to enough food in our family and surpluses to sell to meet other needs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago since we enjoy more food in our family. Besides, we afford higher quality food. Still, I have significantly reduced the amount of time and energy that I spend handling casual work. Instead, I enjoy more rest that has restored my health and given me some ample time to focus and plan for my family. Additionally, I share more time with my children. Subsequently, I get to learn most of their challenges and concerns, while offering appropriate pieces of advice on a timely basis. Overall, I feel more confident that we are leading great lives like our good neighbors.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal for my life for the next four months is to lease at least 0.15 acres of land for farming. This is because I would like to do farming yet I have no piece of land to facilitate the same. As a single parent without any source of significant income, it has been a challenge to raise funds for paying school fees for my children. Accordingly, I expect great performance from the two children. Indeed, GiveDirectly came at the right time to support me and restore my confidence as a mother.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change drastically in the next six months. This is because I will be running my own grocery business. Subsequently, I will be more confident that I can comfortably supprot my children as they pursue their studies. Moreover, I will be enjoying higher self-esteem and respect from my family and the entire community because of my responsibility and hard-work in supporting my family as a single mother.
