How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I now own a decent kitchen. I no longer cook outside like I used to do before and I have avoided all the inconvenience that came with it. I am also glad that I no longer use any money for repairs in my old kitchen like I used to do before. Money gotten from casual jobs is now entirely used to buy basic household needs and even as savings whenever I have extra cash.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to be able to improve my kitchen by cementing the floor soon. Currently, the floor is made of earth and maintaining it is quite a challenge and takes a lot of time. By cementing the floor, It will be easier for us to maintain it clean since it would be much easier to clean it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
It is always the desire of every woman to own a good kitchen. I always felt very bad owning an old kitchen which was really in a bad state. It was a grass-thatched house with a leaking roof and the walls had really cracked making it look ugly and unsafe as well. I had resorted to cooking in the open where I had to guard my food jealously against chicken and other external invaders whenever I was cooking. This was really stressful and I was always looking forward to the day that I would be able to build a new kitchen. When I received my transfer from the merry go round, I was able to build a decent kitchen. I am now cooking comfortably in my new kitchen and I cannot complain. I do not have to worry about heavy rains and invasion from animals like I used to do before. This has been the biggest difference in my daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
It is my expectation that in the next six months I shall have cemented the floor of my house. I want to work towards making sure that the floor of my house is cemented for easier maintenance and to move away from the mess that comes with living in a dusty place like respiratory diseases and the common cold. I am more determined than ever to realize my goals.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is the loss of my husband. I become the sole bread winner for my family despite the fact that I did not have a stable income. I had to find ways of how my children would eat, what they would wear and how they could go to school. His death left me a sad and bitter woman especially with all the responsibilities I had to do.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around noon time. At this time I am sure that I already got a casual job to do for the day and I know how much I will earn from the job hence I am sure that my family will have something to eat when I get home
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfers on buying iron sheets for my roof. My roof is worn out and has many holes. When it rains it's leaks inside the house and that makes me feel sad for my family members especially my grandchildren
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am most proud of is having built a bigger iron roofed house for myself despite being a widow. My husband died fifteen years ago and left me in a very small grass thatched house that could not accommodate all my children as they continued to grow into adults. I am now proud of my house as my children have separate rooms to sleep in
