Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
i was very happy the moment i received my transfer because it was the first time in history for me to have such a huge amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I did not have food at home, the only way i was finding food at home was through begging and sometimes my children could send me a little amount of money for me to buy food. Since i received my transfer i have bought enough food for my family and i don't have to ask for food from anyone.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i received my first transfer i bought food because we did not have food at home. the other amount was used to buy iron sheets as i am planning to build my house once i receive my second transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Having enough food for my family is what receiving this money means to me i would like to use the money to buy farm inputs so that i should be able to produce more and enough for my family, most of the times when my grandchildren have visited they don't stay long because there is no enough food for them and they fill like they are giving me pressure
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the morning when i see my grandchild waking me up it makes me happy because i know I am no longer left alone even if my husband died she has been like my husband for she takes a good care of me and help in so many ways
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
When my husband died i felt like i had no one else left to stay with for most of my children were fully grown ups and they moved to live with there families
