What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my whole transfer ugx 1633000 to complete the house I started with the first transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done so good to give me cash which enabled me build a house. GiveDirectly has brought joy and happiness to my life each time i look at my house. I never imagined I could also build a house since I'm an old woman and a widow at the same time. According to me, I don't see anything wrong done by GiveDirectly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now in that, I have a lot of happiness because I used GiveDirectly's cash to build a house. My house is fully complete and I'm waiting for the pastor to come and bless it and give thanks to God because it was his will that brought GiveDirectly. Before getting these transfers, I used to live a difficult life of looking for grass for maintaining the house. Grass is so scarce and labor is also very expensive to hire. I spent most of my time doing casual labour or work to earn money for buying grass and pay labor.
