What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent 5000 KES on a solar panel, completed the construction of my main house that I had started with the second transfer, started a general shop-selling low order goods like packets of salts, sugar and cooking fats. The almighty God to bless Give Directly, it was a great relief.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that currently, I live in a better house-my former house was very pathetic-it was a grass-thatched house and it used to leak on us terribly and again, we light with solar panel. I don't need to rely on paraffin, which was emitting a lot of smoke and too expensive to afford, anymore.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Give Directly does well is sending us money directly but it would be better they also consider communal projects that can as well make us prosper.
