How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I used most of the transfers to purchase household needs. This has given a lot of peace and feeling of independence because I no longer rely on people for help. This is unlike the previous situation when I could ask people for money to meet my household needs because I couldn't afford most of the items.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, we fetch water about 5km away from my home. Since I'm aged, it's normally challenging to walk for that long distance to get water and in most cases, I'm forced to purchase water hence additional budget. for the next four months, I have an additional goal of saving the coming transfers so that use them to purchase a water tank. This will help me save on both the cost of purchasing water and the struggles of walking for a long distance to fetch water because I'll be harvesting the rainwater.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
For the last four months, I have been able to afford most of the household needs especially food without nan challenges. This is unlike the previous case when I only relied on farming which wasn't reliable due to unpredictable climate change. In most cases whatever I used to get from the harvest could barely sustain my family. This forced me to rely on people for help but I'm glad I'm now independent and this makes feel so proud of myself. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I'm planning to save the coming transfers so that I can purchase a water tank. This will help me harvest rainwater hence I won't walk for a long distance to look for water neither will I be spending on water. I'm hopeful that in the next four months I'll have bought the water tank.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to build a kitchen for my household. Initially, I used to cook in my compound outside the house and this was unfavorable especially on rainy days. It meant that cooking had to be disrupted which on some days it meant sleeping on am empty stomach.

In the next six months, I am hoping to have bought a super drum a capacity of 6,000 liters. This will help me harvest rainwater. Besides that, I hope to have bought a few utensils that I had lacked in my household.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I could manage to eat well and do other things without any problem, unlike in the past when the family could go without meal. There have been no cases of malnutrition noticed amongst my children. I have also prepared land for planting, bought certified seeds and fertilizer for this season. Season being predictably good, we expect good harvest if all goes well. The sweet potatoes I planted five months ago, is ready for harvesting and due to the market demand, my expectation is good income and this will sustain my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a goal of buying something tangible that I will remember GD with. In that case, I have been doing little savings and by the end of the year, I will determine the project suitable for my economic sustainability.
