This will be my additional source of income. I am planning on saving some money from the sales of my farm produce and milk from my dairy cow. I wish to venture into the business of selling cereals. This will be my additional source of income to the family.

The training and the enrollment were perfectly done. We understood all processes and what was required of us during the registration stage. I feel the future of my children is more secured than it has ever been before. I am a mother of five and I largely depend on agriculture to make ends meet.

We used KES 48000 to buy a dairy cow and used the remaining amount to buy clothes and food for family. The decision to buy a dairy cow was because we did not own one having lost the one that we initially owned. The cost of buying milk was becoming unbearable to us considering the cost of living had already gone up with the prevailing tough economic times. Having bought the dairy cow, we now have enough milk supply where we can even sell the surplus to earn little income and be able to meet other local expenses.
