How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
At the moment, my house has become very small and uncomfortable due to my large family size. Therefore, I have decided to build a bigger house for my family and I to move in. When I received my recent transfer, I purchased building materials and immediately began my house project. I feel so blessed to have benefited from this program.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Most of GD undertakings thus far has been just and timely. I am so blessed to have participated in this life changing opportunity provided me by GiveDirectly. May God bless all those involved in putting smiles on our faces.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
As soon as I received my recent transfer from GiveDirectly, I decided to build a bigger house for my family and I to move in. Hence, I bought 3 bundles of zinc ($31,500LD) to roof my house. The remaining portion of my transfer was used as transportation and compensation for contractors working on my house project.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I woke up from sleep preparing to go o the farm when I saw my first mobile money alert to phon. I was very much happy. I ran quickly in my room and open music loud to dance. I danced untill I got very tired. I am a yellow machine operator, my dreamed has been to build my own house when I haven't to get money. The income I normally generate as my monthly incentive from cashual work carried out can not allow me build my own house. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dreamed to build house will soon come to pass.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer had made on my daily life since I started receiving payment from Givedirectly is that before, I didn't have any plan to build house due to lack of money. I have been complacent with living in my father house through hardship but through Givedirectly cash support, I am now empowered financially to start building my own house.
