Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
RE: It was on an early morning when i went at the network courage area to place a call to my older brother who is back home in bong county, to check on his wellbeing. After i got through talking to my brother i than decided to check my account since we had been waiting on the givedirectly transfer for quite some time now. When i checked my account, there my money was. I was so happy because we had actually been looking forward to this transfer for a while, most importantly we are in hunger season so this cash transfer is a great help to us.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
RE: The biggest difference at the moment is joy that i have in my heart knowing that i will soon be a zinc house owner. I will finally be resting from worry of purchasing thatch before the start of every rainy season. Because the roof will leak during the rainy season if it is not changed.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: I spend the most of my recent transfer on purchasing zinc and nails for the renovation of my house. Our house is roof with thatch and the thatches do not last long because it gets dry fast and once it's dry it starts to leak. Like presently our house is leaking terribly.
