What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first thing we are planning is to buy a cow that will cost $250. The reason of buying a cow is that it will help us to have manure that will be used in our agriculture lands so that they can be more productive, also the cow Will produce milk for my children, they are very fond of milk. The second thing we will do is to finish our house by covering it with cement, and put a roof on our kitchen, these activities will cost $200. We will also buy 2 mattresses for $50 and clothes for me and my children and my husband that will cost $50. The rest of money will be spent on food items that will cost $70. "I will have to buy like 25kgs of rice in order to have a stock of it so that we can consume it with my family and feel the goodness of Jesus".Said the recipient with a smile.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing special happened in our home for last 6 months , but I can say that when my husband has got money and give some to me so that I can go to the market to buy some food stuff we need at home , that kind of gesture bring me joy in my heart. " the other thing is that when we have planted our crops and yield good production, we feel happy because during that time we don't lack food at home" Said the husband.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge we are facing is that we live in a house which is not finished as you can see, the kitchen has a no roof we are obliged to cook in one room of the house because we can't cook in the kitchen mostly when it rains, it is impossible. The other challenge is that we don't have our own cow, the one we have is for others and we have no right to it for example we can't sell it when we need money.
