Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to fence my home. I intend to tighten the security of my compound. I recently built my house and I felt for privacy and security purposes would be important to install a fence and small gate too. Installing a gate too will make my home look decent, and I would also get encouraged to start poultry and cattle rearing too.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it was four months ago in that I was able to pay school fees for my son. I normally strain my self by doing several casual jobs a day in order to save something to pay for his school fees. Even after working this hard its usually not enough and they end up sending him home. It is very frustrating to see him being sent home although I usually have no otherwise but to try harder to make sure he goes back on time. I am glad this time I won't have to overwork my self because I managed to pay his school fees using the transfers sent to me by Give Directly.

My next goal is to fence my compound. I have always had issues with my neighbors over the past few years. I am hopeful that fencing my home will be part of the solution.

The biggest difference in my life in the last four months is that I was able to pay school fees for my son. My son is very hard working and always performs well despite being sent home due to school fees arrears. I always felt like I was letting him down because he would miss lessons and was forced to strain himself in order to catch up with his classmates. When I got the chance to pay the fees I didn't hesitate because I value his education and I wouldn't want to be the reason for him to fail

Thanks to GiveDirectly.

My new goal is to fence my compound. I want to make my home look more appealing. Apart from that, I want to safeguard my backyard from being raided by the neighbour's fowls. It usually leads to bad relationships and holding grudges because they end up destroying my crops. One usually feels wasted after the long hard work especially if you depend on the farm produce to survive. I want to be at peace with all of them and I know that this is one of the ways that I can achieve the goal.

Previously, It used to be untidy because a mud-walled house wears off so fast making it look old an ugly. It also gave my wife a tedious job since she had to smear it most of the time which took most of her time. Now she spends that time to do other meaningful chores like farming.
