How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago in that I was able to pay for my children's school fee on time. This was made possible by the income I earned from my business which I boosted with the last four month's transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have a goat at the moment. I wish to have one because goats are so beneficial. I have many responsibilities and I believe if I raise goats I won't be facing challenges meeting them. For instance, all my kids are going to school and I need to pay school fees for all of them. The goats will come in handy because I can sell their young ones in the future in order to raise the school fees. Therefore, for the next four months, I have an additional goal to purchase two goats with the coming transfers in order to help me achieve this dream of schooling all my kids without taking loans.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is the pride I feel for having managed to pay for my children's school fees on time. Previously, I could face a lot of challenges to raise my children's school fee because I didn't have a reliable source of income. I'm glad I have been earning a good profit from the grocery business which I boosted with the last four month's transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I'm currently running a grocery shop which I started with the GD transfers. I'm glad the business has picked and I have been earning a good profit from it. I'm thinking of venturing into a new business (selling goats) which I have seen doing well in our area. This will enable me to earn more income which will enable me to comfortably meet my household needs. In the next six months, I'm expecting to have started the business and hopefully I'll be earning a good income from it.

The little I used to get, was not even enough for food hence paying school fees in time was not possible. My children used to be sent home every now and again and it would make feel very bad because I was not fulfilling my part as a parent. When I started receiving these transfers, I ensured I paid little by little until now I have cleared the balances they had in school. When school re-open next year, I will ensure they are not sent home again for the same.
