We check in with people at each stage of the cash transfer process to see how things are going. Take a look at some of their stories as they appear here in real-time.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I only have one challenge and that is poor housing. This house I am staying in is small for me and my grandchild and it leaks whenever it rains. This brings me discomfort and unease. I constantly have to move things around so that they don't get soaked.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am generally happy and pleased when I have lunch and supper. As you can see right now I am preparing lunch, so whenever I get to have food with my family my life is at peace.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to deal with my poor housing condition. I believe when one has a nice and comfortable home to rest, everything else that they engage in falls in place with ease. So I plan on spending this money in buying iron sheets for my house's roof, mattress and cement for the floor. With the current high cost of living, this project would cost me a fortune so I plan on diverting all these funds towards that. Spending money needs patience, so I wouldn't rush into buying these things after receiving the money but I would rather wait for a week or two then get started after careful considerations.
