How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I used to fall sick most often and my weight had reduced. But ever since I got assistance from GD my health status has improved even my weight is gaining.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD did so well to give me assistance because I don't have anywhere or anyone who could have helped like GD. However I don't see anything they have done bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought livestock @900000 ugx, maize @200000 ugx, household itesms 333000 school fees and uniform 142000, medicine 6000 ugx, soap 2000 ugx and saved 50000 ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that i have got a good mattress for my self and I dress and feed well.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt happy because Give Directly fulfilled the promise they made to me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying two bulls at 1,300,000ugx, I bought a mattress, uniforms for my children, clothes for my self and food. I used some money for treatment.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is famine. The nature of this place does not support farming in that even the little that i plant is usually consumed by water. One can never harvest good yields.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when i have had a meal.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to pay school fees for my children, buy oxen for ploughing and buy food.
