Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
"I was overjoyed when I received my first transfer. The joyed and excitement I felt can not be explained. This money had brought so much relieved and joyed to us as family. Few days before this transfer all my eight children were put out of school for school fees and uniforms. This brought us so much sadness as family to the extent that I cried not knowing where to get money from so they can go back to school. Happily I received my first transfer over the weekend and the excitement had been unending for us. Because settling their fees was the first thought that came to mind."
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
"For the passed years, our livelihood as family had solely been depended on cutting palm and selling the nuts. With this living condition and having many children, things had not been easy with my family. Most especially raising school fees for all of them had been very challenging for us. However with my transfers from GiveDirectly, I have decided that most of the money will be spend on my children's school fees because this had been one of the challenging issues for me. This bring me great Joy each and everyday since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly."
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
"With the financial constraints my family was faced with in raising money for my children's school fees and their uniforms, as soon I cashed out my money, I used a portion of the money and firstly bought all their uniforms. Most importantly, I used the remaining money and pay their fees and happily they are all back in school today. Thanks to GiveDirectly for this life saving opportunity."
