How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a significant change in my life in that, I am a happy person because I acquire bulls that I will use to support the family in ploughing, thus early crop planting. Earlier on, I used to hire bulls expensively that would not even happen in time. Besides, some times I used to dig with a hand hoe that was very tedious and time consuming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through channeling cash transfers directly to the recipient without using middle men. I think GiveDirectly is one of the best organisations that has done their best.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer worth UGX 1,550,000 for buying bulls that I intend to use for supporting the household in ploughing for early planting. We use bulls for animal traction mainly though we have the tractors as well, not every one can afford to hire since they are expensive. The balance of UGX 82,000, I spent it on buying bed sheets for my children.

I have spent my first transfer on 10 bags of cement at Ugx350000, two trips of bricks and sand at Ugx800000 and Ugx200000 respectively. I spent the balance on household goods.
