What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on a chips and soda business for 20,000 KES , which seems to be picking. I spent 1,500 KES on house rent and 5,000 KES on assorted food for my family and parents in-law .I am still saving the balance for the purpose of putting up a bigger house of our own since we have been staying in a relative's house as we have none of our own for the moment.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved and we have made a step in life by owning households. People used to mock us by telling us that we'll never own anything in life. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a new mattress since mine was very very old. I then spent the rest on starting a fruits selling business at our local market.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received my transfer, at the time I was very broke. I went and withdrew the money and bought food immediately because without the transfer we would have gone to bed hungry.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced in life is that we don't have our own home. We have been staying in someone else's house for two years as homeless and there is no much freedom. This has been a difficult experience to bear.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when am having dinner with my children. They make me happy through their fun stories.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money was an exciting news to me and my spouse. I have been longing to get aid from other sectors but in vain. Am therefore glad because I will use this money to meet my priority needs.
