How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I previously planned to put all of my money in agriculture, but it didn't happen due to lack of seedings, so I have changed the plan to build a three bedroom house. The house I'm currently residing in is old and the location is not okay with me. Almost everyone is relocating to the new town called new Gorzohn. So I want to build new house there too.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done more than good for my family and I. Imagined, giving us money with no condition attached. Life would have been very difficult for us if we had not received this money. GiveDirectly was fair in the selection process and she was able to reached out to all of our citizens. Thank you so much for selecting our community.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"In 2019 we made a farm containing pepper with the intent of selling the produce from the farm to buy zinc to roof of our house but the money generated from the farm was not enough to take care of the children school fees and at the same time buy the zinc. Currently the house has leakages because the thatch roof has spoiled. Once I receive any transfer from GD, I'll use the money to renovate my house".
What is the happiest part of your day?
" The only happy moment I have had for the past six months was to see myself ending 2021 with good healthh. I was happy because 2021 was a very challenging year for me because of the news of sicknesses in Liberia and the world."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" Finance is a major challenge for us as a family. Every year we are engaged with farming activities but the produce from the farm can not take care of our needs. Sometimes the little crops we depend on for survival are destroyed by pest. As a result of the damage caused by these pest, my family has to go through hardship on many occations".
