Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in life is to clear paying school fees for my children for this year. This will make them not be sent back home hence they will not be missing any of their classes. Also, I am planning to make my home more presentable by painting it and fix the ceiling boards. I will be using the money I will be getting from doing casual jobs around the village to achieve this.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I have been able to build a spacious house for my family in the piece of land that we recently bought. Due to this, I no longer walk for a long distance looking for water or going to the shop since I now live near the water pan and also close to the main road. Being able to relocate to this place has also given me more land to cultivate. Before relocating to this place, we were living in a nine points land and we had used two points as our compound. Relocating has enabled us to fully utilize the nine points of land on farming.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will have changed in the next six months in that, my house will be more presentable than how it is currently. I am hoping that I will have painted it and fix a ceiling board. Also, I believe that I will have finished paying school fees for my son. Due to this, he will always have enough time for his studies and he will not be missing any classes. Apart from this, I am certain that I will have planted tea seedlings in the piece of land that was our compound previously. My income from tea farming will increase after it has grown and reached a stage where the tea leaves can be plucked for processing.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I get enough food for my family.I can afford all three meals per day and my children are looking healthier because they no longer miss any meal since receiving these transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I will be living in my own piece of land I bought and will have a new house.I will have bought a cow.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently because I have peace in my house.We are in good terms with my husband because we don't lack much and there is no blame game between me and him based on daily provisions.I also would not have completed paying for the piece of land bought.My current life is so different and happy

I plan to construct a house.I also plan to buy a calve to keep.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is lack of enough money to build a new house and I thank God since I know GiveDirectly will give me money that will help me fulfill my dreams.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am with my family, chatting our way forward as we have our evening meals. This makes me grateful to God.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my tranfer to build a new house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement i am proudest of is the fact that we managed to increase the size of land which we plant tea. In the year 2008, we bought land through our efforts in farming, working as casual labourers and a small business of buying and selling tea: our efforts in all these enabled us to buy land and in 2009, we managed to plant tea and that is what makes me proud.
