What does receiving this money mean to you?
My first plans is to purchase enough food for my household. I want to buy food because we hardly eat on time. Imagine, after traveling long distant to reach our farm, we start working by 10 am till 4pm before finding food to eat so we hardly eat balance dietary food. My next plan is to pay my children school fees. Currently, I am a mother of 7 children all of whom are in school. I want to educate them so they will not go through what I am going through as an uneducated woman. I bought a plot of land in Monrovia since 3 years now but because of no cash, I have not obtained title for it, so I will use portion of my transfer to get all the legal documentation because in the absence of the documents, the plot of land is not mine.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When my daughter who was sick for more than 2 years recovered from the sickness just 2 months ago, I was very happy. I was happy for my daughter health because she will be able to live and continue her education. Secondly, when I put the zinc over my house, I was so happy because I know soon I will soon live in my own house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main challenge now is finance to complete my house I am constructing here. I started the construction work last year but I have not complete it due to lack of finance. While, food business is a challenge as well, my dwelling place is important because I have children who I am expecting here to visit me at any time. Currently, I am stay here at my sister's house.
