Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is better now because I have bought a good bed and mattress which I am sleeping on. On top of this, I have bought iron sheets and currently burning bricks which I intend to use for constructing an iron roofed house come my second transfer. Previously, I was sleeping on a very slim mattress and on the floor and I had no hopes of even constructing an iron roofed house because I did not have any reliable source of income.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I got the transfer, I felt so happy. I could not believe that I was the one getting such a big amount of money. I would have died without even holding that money. I am grateful to God.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 652,000 for buying 26 iron sheets. I paid my sister school fees of UGX 300,000. I used UGX 100,000 to pay laborers who helped me to make bricks. I bought a bed and mattress at UGX 170,000. I purchased the clothes, firewood for burning bricks and saved UGX 300,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build a permenent house that I will sleep in. I am I the process of getting a spouse,this will be an opportunity for me to build before she comes into my life hence better living conditions. I sleep currently in a grass thatched house which is made up of blocks. It is very small and I share with produce that same house which does not give the comfort I deserve.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have completed my daily struggles. I tend to go out to the center in order to meet friends who support me with ideas hence I get refreshed and happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is limited income. I do not have money that can support me in my farming activities like ploughing, weeding and harvesting. That limits my ability to produce more in order to live a sustained life. I struggle alone with a hand hoe and what I manage to produce is very little.
