How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since the cash transfer, my new goal is to build my own house as the house am in is for my mother. My own house broke down after my husband's death, and I had to moved back in mine mother's place. Thanks to Give Directly for the assistance given us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly assist the needy in improving their status in life, but they never accept gifts from us. In the African certain, when you have done good for people, they too in return come up to appreciate you by give you live chicken or something to say thanks. Give Directly does not accept it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought one bundle zinc to add to the other zinc for my house project, while I bought two bags of cement to add to the other two bags to plaster my mother's house where I lived.
