What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay fees for my child. This is so because my child is going to senior one and I am looking at her future. I also had to get back my garden land that I had given out in exchange for money some time back. I had needed this money urgently.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly has done well by giving me financial help that has enabled me to acquire what ever I have now. However, givedirectly has done nothing bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have a peace of mind. Before, I could be thinking how to get back my land, take my child to school, feed and many more other things.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I plastered my house @400000 ugx, I bought windows and doors @280000, I paid labor 226000 ugx for the mansions, Household items 463000 ugx, I bought @100000 ugx, I purchase a phone @100000 ugx, Feeding 81000 ugx and saved 50000 ugx.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy deep down my heart when i saw the mobile money message in my phone, I kept calm and together with my spouse we started planning on how to spend our transfer. On the second day, My my spouse collected the transfer and we put it in good use.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life has tremendously changed with a lot of happiness, I have plastered my house which looks so good, I have also acquired household items like Mattresses, Utensils and clothes among other things. I keep praying for Give Directly to progress in their work and may the Almighty God bless GD and their staff for such a wonderful job done.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of money to buy oxen and an ox-plough.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my children playing.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy oxen and an ox-plough for opening up fields.
