What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on investing on livestock rearing. I opted for this project because it was the best way so far I could use to invest my money. To add on that, the livestock purchased could easily be sold during an emergency that required cash. The livestock could also be used in educating my children who promised to bring great changes in the family's lifestyle should they acquire appropriate education.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly changed with the transfers from GiveDirectly since today, my children are able to stay full-time in school as opposed to previously when they could spend much of their time out of school looking for school fees. Our feeding program too has greatly improved to an extent that we manage all the three meals in a day without no strain at all.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I acknowledge a lot the good work done by GiveDirectly that has ensured that the extremely poor members of the society get access to their daily needs with a lot of ease.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent this my token transfer on what I considered important to me; I spent on a steel door to revamp my security.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
When I will receive this my upcoming lumpsum payment, I will replace the old iron sheets on the roof of my main house with the new ones, then I will invest in lumbering, a business I am very experienced on. Besides, this is an opportunity with a wide gap in our community.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on renovating my current house since one side of the roof was built using very old iron sheets which leaks during rainy seasons,I will use the remaining amount to start up a charcoal trading business to help me support my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is owning my current house, my previous house collapsed four months ago after heavy rains.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is on making ends meet, this is because the casual jobs I rely on are no longer available making it very difficult to get any money to support the family. The farms are also not doing well due to acute draught we're experiencing currently.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning after doing house chores and resting ready to pick another task.
