What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am the second born in a family of 11 siblings. There was a time in our life when we had one of our siblings feeling unwell. It was later discovered that he was suffering from Cancer. It was a hard time for the entire family considering that he needed so much attention and money for his medication. It reached a point that I had to drop out of school just to take care of my ailing brother. It is unfortunate that we lost him and that was the biggesrt hardship in my life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up strong and healthy. It is another new day to struggle and strive to make a difference in my life.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend part of my transfer on building a new house for my family. I also intend to buy livestock with part of the remaining amount and use the rest in starting a poultry keeping project.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
There was a time I had a job in Mombasa. During this time I made so much income that I was able to save and improve the livelihood of my family and I. During this period, I was able to buy livestock for my family and this gave me much joy that I can never forget. Its only unfortunate that I lost the job after being involved in an accident and I had to come back home but I remain proud because I can still see the benefits I got from that job to date.
