What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on a house. I used my third transfer to renovate my house because it was leaking and the walls had weakened.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because I now live in a better shelter and I feed well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to sensitise us about the program and the good coordination between us and GiveDirectly officers.

I spent my second transfer on buying a cow to provide milk at home. I also stocked food and use the rest for my medication and upkeep.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the improved health due to medication and good feeding in this old age.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used my first transfer to renovate my house since the floor was made of mud. I also used some of the money to get treatment as I was sick when GD sent the money. Then the rest of the money was used to buy food as we have been affected by hunger in our home.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when i received the money was so joyious and life normalized because I knew I woukd be taken to hospital for the sickness I had.

My proudest achievement is buying a plot on which I built a house

My biggest hardship is feeding myself because now I am weak my cultivation is very small.

My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon when I am having a meal with my grandchild.
