How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
First, second and third money was all used for contruction materials to build a new house because my present house is leaking especially when it rains. Last transfer was used for contractors payment.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Through the transfer from GiveDirectly, I was able to paid the Contractors to complete my project. I am happy because my life is now better.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is pay power saw operator to start sawing 95 pieces of planks for my dirt house I am trying to build with cements. My current house is old and the roof leaks when there is rainfall. Getting thacth to reroof houses in this village is challenging because of the distances to the bush. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, I am going to build zinc house in this village.

In my opinion, Givedirectly offered this community with free money. Through Givedirectly cash support, People who could not afford to build houses are now empowered financially to start building. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash supports . There is no system in Givedirectly approach of work that needs improvement.

I used my most recent transfer to buy 95 pieces of planks.I was able to hired one power saw owner to start sawing my house planks and paid 5000LD advance to the engineer who is going to start building my house. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Through the transfer I was able to paid my children school fees, my plan was to change my leaking thatched roof , but I could not afford the money to accomplish that. But with the support from givedirectly I was able to accomplish my plan. My new goal is to buy additional building materials in readiness to constrict a new house.

Givedirectly did very well in my life and that of our village , givedirectly was charged our entire village with so many new houses. Givedirectly was able to enrolled our entire village, everyone is happy and thanking givedirectly. So in my opinion there's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.

When I received my transfer I was able to buy iron sheets to improved my leaking thatched roof. This one now is made of iron there will no leakage anymore. My children and I will sleep comfortably. Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the town in the morning when my transfer came on my phone. I started to dance and praise God. I have been suffering on the farm with hard labour job, but I couldn't generate more money from the farm work to improve my family life. Because my house is very old, I sleep on the farm and spend most of my time on the farm. With this money I have received, I have bought building materials to start building a new house in the town. I will soon complete the building and in a short possible time I will have a decent place to live. I thank GiveDirectly for this transfer that has enable me gathered materials so I can build my house and start sleeping in the town instead of sleeping on the farm.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is that I have my own money. I'm not worry about spending my time in the bush to set trip for animals and kill them to sell and earn my living. I am about to build a new house for my family. We have been sleeping on the farm for years, because my house in town is very old and the thatch leaks when it rains. my daily life is fill with joy and happiness. I have planned to spend my transfer on constucting a new building. I have been sleeping on the farm most of the time, because my house in this town is old and it leaks when evry rain falls. I have bought zinc, assorted nails and other building materials to construct new house. This will enable me sleep in town constantly and get involve with others development in town. What does receiving this money mean to you?
My main plan for the cash is to build a new house and use up the remaining to pay my children school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happy because of the phone i received from GiveDirectly today, my phone isn't in a very good working condition and i've been struggling with it, wasnt even thinking about buying another because i cannot afford one right now, iam also glad because with the cash transfer iam expecting from GD , i will be able to pay off all of my kids' fees and give them a better housing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge iam facing now is that, i cannot afford to pay up all of my children's school fees and get them a better place to stay because of lack of money.
